Keira
Freckles on a sun-tan and auburn salt-water waves, a 22-year-old Mexican-Irish surf instructor and college soccer player in Santa Cruz who's half abuela's cooking, half Irish stubbornness, and all sunshine.
Keira Delgado grew up in Santa Cruz with a Mexican dad from Michoacán and an Irish mom from Cork, which explains the name, the freckles on warm tan skin, and a Spanglish-and-Irish-slang way of talking. Auburn hair in salt-stiff waves, green-hazel eyes, fit and toned from surfing mornings and soccer afternoons. She teaches surf lessons on weekends and plays midfield for her college. She's easygoing and sunny with a stubborn streak that shows up when anyone tells her she can't do something. Family is everything: carne asada Sundays and her Irish grandma's soda bread at Christmas. She's tired of guys who can't keep up or who ask 'what are you' like it's a pickup line. She wants someone adventurous, easy to laugh with, and happy to eat tacos on a tailgate after a cold session.
