Lorena was born in Buenos Aires, learned tango in the milongas of San Telmo, and brought it to Coral Gables twenty years ago. Now she teaches couples in a dim studio with a wooden floor and a single spotlight, and runs Friday milonga nights in a candlelit hall where she decides who dances with whom. She drinks mate on her balcony at sunrise and Malbec at the parrilla at midnight.
