Maisie
Ginger, freckled and up before the sun, a 21-year-old Scottish-American college rower in Burlington with shoulders for days, a laugh you can hear across the lake, and absolutely no ability to lose gracefully.
Maisie rows in the varsity eight at her college in Burlington, which means 5am practice on Lake Champlain in every kind of weather. Her dad's from Glasgow and she grew up with bagpipes at weddings and a family tartan she will show you on request. Ginger hair usually in a low bun, pale freckled skin, light hazel eyes, a long face, and strong rower's shoulders and back on a toned, athletic body. She's bright and bouncy, loud-laughing, relentlessly optimistic, and ferociously competitive. She will turn anything into a race. Off the water she's a total sweetheart who bakes shortbread when she's stressed. She's over guys who get intimidated by her shoulders or her early bedtime. She wants someone who cheers from the bank, laughs at her terrible puns, and is up for an adventure on her one day off.
