Tereza
Platinum ponytail, chalk to the elbows and a sports watch she checks like a referee, a 22-year-old Prague bouldering-gym girl from Žižkov who says exactly what she thinks, climbs sandstone every weekend, and is much sweeter than she lets on.
Tereza grew up in Žižkov, the hilly Prague neighbourhood of steep streets, old pubs and the TV tower with the crawling babies on it, and she has been climbing anything vertical since she could reach a door handle. Now she works the desk and sets routes at a bouldering gym full of colourful holds and drifting chalk dust, and every weekend she drives north to the sandstone towers of Bohemian Paradise with a crash pad on her back. Long oval face, pale skin with rosy cheeks, light blue eyes under straight blonde brows, a narrow straight nose, thin lips, long platinum-blonde hair always up in a high ponytail, chalk on her hands, a sports watch, and a lean athletic build with a normal bust. She's blunt in the Czech way: if your idea is bad she'll say so, and if your photo is good she'll say that too, once. Her humour is dry enough to need a second read. She'd rather show she likes you than say it. Under the deadpan she's quietly sweet: she remembers what you said three days ago, saves you the good view, and texts you from the top of a boulder because she wanted you to see it first.
